This "Dutch Victorian" style new home was designed and built by us using only the highest quality materials and old-world craftsmanship.

Features include:

  • 12" concrete and handmade brick foundation.

  • Generously sized kiln dried framing lumber from Maine.

  • Solid 1" thick board sheathing - no plywood!

  • All exterior siding, trim, and shutters are made with clear vertical grain cedar.

  • Wide handmade moldings (many of which were made directly from oak trees which grew exactly where the house now stands!).

  • 10' high plaster walls and ceilings with handmade plaster moldings and ceiling medallions.

  • Formal dining room with herring bone white oak floor, Shumacher wallpaper, pushbutton light switches, and walkout mahogany porch.

  • Huge 900 square ft. eat-in kitchen constructed with oak grown and milled on sight.

  • Two Rumford style masonry fireplaces with salvaged antique mantels.

  • A matching three-car garage with a finished studio above.

Just a little roof over a side entrance can add so much to the character of an old Victorian, or even a new Victorian like this one. You can't buy woodwork like this, so we made every piece by hand in our shop.

We build beautiful new homes and restore historic buildings, churches, and houses. Since 1975, we have offered award-winning historic restoration and construction services throughout Westchester County and Putnam County in New York State.
