We take pride in restoring the architectural integrity of old buildings. Our skilled craftsmen use specialized techniques, tools, and the latest equipment to preserve their beauty and character for future generations.

Yorktown Presbyterian Church (1829 Greek Revival). Exterior restoration maintains architectural integrity; restores rotted window sashes while preserving old glass; and replaces four layers of asphalt with a wood shingle roof.

Rose Tower: complete restoration of the tower on the Rose House, Mt. Kisco, NY, including carpentry repairs, duplication of period woodwork, new slate and copper roof, and finishing. We own and erect our own scaffolding which can substantially reduce the overall job cost to you. By the way, you might recognize this house if you saw the movie "Ragtime."

Trinity Episcopal Church, Fishkill, NY: Complete exterior restoration including fabrication, installation, finishing, and painting of large areas of exterior siding and trim.

St. Philips Church, Garrison, NY: complete exterior restoration including slate roof, windows, and all wooden trim. We were able to salvage enough slate for all faces except the north side, where we used new Vermont slate matching the original color and size.

This project included careful removal of the entire original slate roof. Every slate was brought to the ground, hand washed, inspected, and then re-installed using copper nails. As you can see, this Church is mostly stone, but you'd be surprised by how much wooden trim there actually is. All trim was carefully sanded, repaired if necessary, and then repainted.

While the slates were being washed and re-installed, we fabricated, installed, and soldered all new 20 oz. copper flashings.

New half round 18 oz. copper gutters and round copper leaders were also fabricated, soldered, and installed.

Years ago, the windows were covered with opaque glass panels with the idea of protecting them from the weather. However, what actually happened was that excessive moisture and heat were trapped, accelerating the decay of the wooden window frames. We removed the "protective" glass panels, then repaired, restored, and repainted all of the original woodwork.
